This is a collection of motion graphics done for various class assignments using Adobe After Effects.
Above is a piece completed for my motion graphics course. We were to pick a song and get an approximately 30-second clip of the audio. I chose the song "Head Over Heels" by Tears for Fears. I then took a clip of my choosing and typed up the lyrics, which I then synced up to show on the screen when that part of the audio played. This motion type was the first time using Adobe After Effects and is my first motion graphic.
Above is a motion graphic that is a component for the BINJ Redesign and Case Study. We were to take the primary logo that we developed and create a short animated piece of the logo in movement. I used Adobe After Effects to create this animation, which shows the full name of the non-profit coming out from behind the abbreviation component of the logo. I also made the colors rotate within the abbreviation as an additional component of the animation.
Above is the motion graphic component of my senior thesis project. I created this in my motion graphics class for a 2D to 3D assignment, where we were to take 5 images and apply a multilayered, 3D effect to them. This assignment was timed perfectly with my thesis timeline so I used illustrations created for the project with this motion graphic. I included basic summarizing text as well as a "coming soon" bit at the end and included fun, playful music to tie it all together.
